Internal Quality Assurance Cell

Internal Quality Assurance Cell was established in 2005. It works as per the guidelines set forth by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Functions of IQAC

  • Development and application of quality benchmarks / parameters in various activities of the institution.
  • Dissemination of information on quality aspects.
  • Organization of discussion, workshops, seminars and promotion of quality circles.
  • Recording and monitoring quality measures of the institution.
  • Acting as a nodal agency of the institution for quality related activities.
  • Preparation of Annual Quality Assurance Report and such other reports as may be decided from time to time.

  • Brainstorming sessions for faculty to increase quality
  • Feedback from stakeholders
  • Designing activities and programmes in accordance with NAAC suggestions and feedback.
  • Making suggestions to CDC.
  • After obtaining approval from the authorities implementing the activities.
  • Monitoring the activities.
  • Meeting Schedule
  • At least two meetings per year.
  • In the first meeting goal setting and planning is done.
  • In the second meeting progress and evaluation is done.
  • Preparation of AQAR.
