Chhatrapati Shivaji College, Satara

It is my privilege to welcome you to Chhatrapati Shivaji College, Satara which was founded in June 1947 by the visionary founder of Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, Satara, Dr. Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil.

We promote quality education in response to the changing scenario of society. It imparts secular, liberal, progressive education to rural students and inculcates pluralistic and multicultural outlook for a healthy society.

The college is accredited at 'A+' grade by NAAC with CGPA of 3.51 in 2017. The UGC has conferred on the college autonomous status from the academic year 2019-2020.
